I would not recommend this product. The reason that I brought this coffee machine was because it said that it had a permanent reusable coffee filter that came along with the machine. I was thinking that I wouldn't have to buy anymore coffee filters, but it turns out that I had to continue buying coffee filters, because little pieces of the coffee beans kept going through the filter and into my drink.
I take two one for my wife she likes tea. Black & Decker DCM18 Brew 'N Go Coffeemaker I love this coffee maker for a one cup of coffee. easy to clean just rinse out the basket. She can't stand the taste coffee with her tea. I take it with me when I travel. I can make the coffee as strong as I like.
The mesh filter eliminates the need for paper filters, and is healthier as well. Since I am the only coffee drinker in my house, I've enjoyed having a quick and convenient cup of coffee each morning without wasting the rest of the pot.
It pops off when I put it on, which makes for dangerous drinking conditions when the coffee is hot. My only issue with the DCM18 is that the cover for the mug does not maintain a tight seal. Overall, this is a nice unit with a small footprint on the kitchen counter. I like this machine, it works well and allows for a fresh cup of coffee when I want one. I like that I can throw the filter into the dishwasher or just give it a quick rinse.
It is a good buy for the price. It is also great for brewing 1 cup of tea. I love this coffeemaker. I only drink about 2 cups of coffee per day, so this is perfect.
